We are hiring a Mechanical Design Engineer whose main responsibility is to design, develop and verify the performance of mechanical components & sub-assemblies, paper handling devices and complete laser printer.  

Your typical day will include:

  • Application of mechanical design principle, knowledge and skills to deliver simple to moderately complex mechanical systems meeting design requirements and product specification.
  • Generation of complete 2D, 3D and Assembly prints.
  • Generation of design ideas and concepts to meet product requirements.
  • Conducts tolerance analysis on module to system level assembly.
  • Performs root cause analysis and provides countermeasures.
  • Coordinates mechanical development activities with global cross-functional teams.
  • Verifies module and or system level design functionality and problem solution requiring test plan generation, laboratory equipment set-up, data acquisition and analysis to come up with engineering recommendations.
  • Understanding of Product Process Delivery Lifecycle, execution of the process and its design requirement.
  • Supports manufacturing build and resolve any technical issues.
  • Drives the generation and implementation of cost reduction ideas.
  • Documentation of captured learning and best practices.
  • Other related activities.

We invite you to join our team, if you have:

  • BS degree in Mechanical Engineering (degree in MS is an added advantage).
  • Has proven extensive knowledge in hands-on laboratory mechanical work, testing methods, and root cause analysis.
  • Computer Aided Design software proficiency.
  • Familiar with plastic and sheet metal manufacturing and design processes.
