PRODUCT PLANNER

Job Purpose/Mission/Summary:

The Product Planner is part of a highly cross functional team spanning across Lexmark’s business functions that include R&D, Portfolio Management, Supply Chain, Professional Services, Sales, and Marketing to drive Lexmark’s brand and product life cycle.

A successful candidate enables successful product delivery through organizational leadership and information management, starting from product conceptualization until release.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Drive business checkpoint processes to ensure that programs meet schedule and financial targets.
  • financial targets. Lead product gate meetings and facilitate executive and leadership sign off.
  • Understand the key checkpoints, milestones, and gates within the Lexmark product lifecycle process.
  • Coordinate with internal business areas to align product and delivery requirements.
  • Establish information structure that bridge marketing data to engineering assembly components.
  • Accountable for product information document that is the source of truth for Lexmark product definition.
  • Update and Maintain the Product schedules and milestone in the product sites.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or project management field.
  • At least 3-5 years' experience directly related to project management.
  • Practical experience and knowledge in managing the product development lifecycle.
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to track progress, drive actions, and communicate requirement as well as progress reports.
  • Collaboration skills, along with the ability to negotiate required timelines among competing priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work with and across various groups and levels of management within the organization.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and influence others towards a common goal. Able to analyze complex ideas or requirements and distill them into functional a
